As a couple we are a fusion of two worlds, in that Patti grew up in sub-rural Kansas and Jim in sub-urban Long Island, NY. We met while attending Christ for the Nations, Stony Brook NY, a Bible college for ministry preparation. We fell in love and got married and graduated in 1988. We launched into ministry, passionately following Jesus and have never looked back.

We currently serve as Senior Pastors and the leaders of the Leadership Team. We share almost 18 years of marriage & ministry, in the continental United States and abroad. We enjoy being a spiritual mom and dad to those who are younger in the Faith and have many spiritual kids throughout the nation.They bring us great joy as they (now adults) continue to move on in life. And after 16 years of waiting on the miracle of having natural children, Patti gave birth to our beautiful daughter Abbagael Fiona Sinead Sullivan in January 2006. It is a powerful testimony in itself. She is loved by all of our spiritual kids, as well. They were a big part in praying for this awesome miracle of having a child.

Our ministry experience includes church planting, church redevelopment, youth ministry, missions and training leaders. We’ve always maintained a heart for the local church, as well as working together with regional & national leaders in reaching people with the gospel. We have a heart to train and release the church in reaching the lost through creative ways of evangelism and leadership development. In these days, Our specific focus in the Riverlife Community Church is to reach the growing population of unchurched people in their 20’s and 30’s.

As a visionary leader Jim has a heart for outreach and has developed and led numerous outreaches including reaching the business community. He is also actively involved as a real estate investor. He is a gifted worship leader, song writer, teacher and communicator. He presently oversees the staff and leadership of Riverlife in the day to day operations of the church.

Patti functions as a trainer and a leader in the realm of the prophetic. She loves to build prophetic teams. And she believes that as God continues to “pour out His Spirit on all flesh” (Acts 2), that prophetic people can be used in creative ways (such as dream interpretation and prophesying to spiritual seekers) to reach this generation for Christ. She works in training people in dream interpretation and evangelizing in creative ways. She possesses a unique prophetic anointing fused with Christ like compassion. She is also experienced in working with Christ-centered support groups and bringing people into greater personal wholeness in Christ. She, together with Jim, has worked with youth and young adults for many years and continues to call people to value and raise up the younger generation.
