We celebrated Abbagael’s first birthday. She is growing and we praise God for her everyday. Her birthday was January 12th, and believe it or not it was 530 Fahrenheit in New York that day. We actually took her for a ride in her brand new Red Wagon! Patti’s health is good. Even though she was technically diagnosed with a mild heart attack just before Christmas, later tests have miraculously displayed no indication of scarring, which would be typical, and she also has no indication of artery problems. We thank God for this powerful answer to prayer. We have also recently experienced another step toward victory in the legal process regarding buying our home. This has been a focus of prayer for months, so thanks for praying. It’s clear God is moving. And it is an important part of God’s plan for us to be restored as homeowners again, as it was largely the enemies Prayer Point: Pray that the Father continues his healing work in Patti’s body and that he continues to grant us favor & victory as we walk out this process to buy the home we are living in.

We started out the New Year officiating a wedding on New Year’s Eve. This was a great opportunity to reach out to a new couple through pre-marriage counseling and performing their ceremony. It was a powerful evangelistic opportunity too. Other believers present noticed a significant wave of God’s Spirit roll into the room as Jim read from the Book of Isaiah, open with a scripture reading sating “Behold I am doing a new thing”. The bride herself, who has yet to commit her life to Christ, said she was over come with this “feeling” at that moment, which she was able to recognize as the manifest presence of God! We have also had a unique opportunity to negotiate a potential purchase of a church building on Long Island’s north fork, right smack in the middle of wine country (pictured to the side). The church that owns the property is very interested in seeing this property utilized for God’s Kingdom, and will hold the mortgage for us. We have a faith goal to raise $100,000 toward this purchase. We welcome any and all who would give generously toward a down payment on this property. Prayer Point: pray that we would have God’s favor & provision as we dialogue with this other ministry about a potential purchase.

Since 2001, Jim has had a growing sphere of influence to minister to the business community in creative ways. At present, God has granted him extraordinary favor & success selling “business to business” services in the areas of Tax Reduction, Asset Protection, and Wealth Building. This put him in touch with hundreds of business people from all walks, all over the U.S.A. He just completed his first years in sales for Pathfinder Business Strategies (www.PFBS.com), and has experienced significant success to help supplement our income. This has also made way for some “out of the box” evangelism opportunities too… everything from counseling business people, to even providing church services during weekend long business conferences in hotels. Pathfinder is founded by Drew Miles, a rising Christian figure and mentor to the national business community. It is Drew’s principal desire to build a company God can be proud of. And that he is! Thus, whenever we host business conferences, we include an optional Sunday Morning Church Service for the attendees, right there in the hotel. It’s amazing to see how hungry people are for Authentic Christian Spirituality when they get up at 7 am to attend! The first two occasions for this were in Orlando at the end of 2005. Upcoming events in the next few months will include Orlando & Phoenix. Prayer Point: Pray that God’s Spirit would use this unique opportunity to turn hearts to Christ, and raise up a generation of Kingdom-driven business leaders.
